Als Ausgangspunkt w\u00e4hle ich den Parkplatz im Seetal, am Ende der Goldeck Panoramastra\u00dfe. Zuerst gehts auf breitem Fahrweg hinunter zur Kapeller Alm und weiter am sogenannten \u201eRupertiweg\u201c zur kleinen Gusenalm. Noch kurz am Fahrweg, zweigt der weitere Weg zum \u201eStaff\u201c bei der AV-Beschriftung Weg Nr. 287 in den L\u00e4rchenwald. Dieser Steig f\u00fchrt in Richtung Eckwandsattel, m\u00e4\u00dfig steig, hinauf und der Bergwanderer biegt unterhalb des Eckweandsattels, beim AV-markierten Wegweiser, nach links ab und erreicht nach einer kurzen einfachen Kletterstelle den Karsattel. <!--more-->Der gut ausgetretene Steig folgt Richtung Osten zum Mitterstaff und trifft sp\u00e4ter auf den Steig der vom Eckwandsattel her f\u00fchrt. Nun wird es wieder etwas steiler und, man kann sich entscheiden &gt; entweder man ben\u00fctzt den s\u00fcdseitigen Steig oder man entscheidet sich direkt am Grat zum Gipfel zu gelangen &lt; ausgesetzt ist der Weg nie, etwas Schwindelfrei sollte man sein. Der Bergwanderer wird mit einer sch\u00f6nen Aussicht, beim gro\u00dfen Gipfelkreuz, belohnt &gt; eine Rast zahlt sich aus. Der Retourweg f\u00fchrt mich, und meine Frau, um den Eckwandsattel herum, und zur\u00fcck zur Gusenalm und zum Ausgangspunkt. Eine Einkehr bei der Gusenalm zahlt sich ebenfalls aus. Daten: Aufstieg ca. 750 Meter d.h. inkl. Abstiege insgesamt ca. 1000 HM, ca. 14,8 KM Wegstrecke bei ca. 4,5 Stunden Gehzeit (ohne Pausen). Der \u201eHohe Staff\u201c ist ein 2218 Meter hoher Gipfel in der Latschurgruppe, eine kleine vorgelagerte Berggruppe der Gailtaler Alpen in K\u00e4rnten. Als Ausgangspunkt w\u00e4hle ich den Parkplatz im Seetal, am Ende der Goldeck Panoramastra\u00dfe. Zuerst gehts auf breitem Fahrweg hinunter zur Kapeller Alm und weiter am sogenannten \u201eRupertiweg\u201c zur kleinen Gusenalm.
